Elise in the PostHouse
PostHouse Westboro apartments stand on land once owned by William and Eliza Lowry, two prominent figures in Westboro’s history. To honour Eliza, our restaurant—Manhattan-inspired in design but rooted in a French tradition—is named “Elise.” Designed as a vibrant gathering spot, Elise aims to be a staple of the Westboro dining scene—a welcoming place to enjoy a drink, classic French fare, or a leisurely meal, whether it’s once a week or a few times. As a tribute to the site’s heritage, over 1,000 square feet of original brick from the Lowry home has been carefully preserved and reinstalled in the restaurant, a permanent nod to Westboro’s past.
